Job Summary
The Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning invites applications for a term-limited academic advisor and summer programs specialist. This position is initially envisioned as a one-year appointment, with the possibility of renewal or conversion to a permanent role. Reporting to the director of student affairs (our organizational chart), you will support and expand the entry points into the fields of architecture and planning, including summer programs, the undergraduate architecture minor, orientation, and other evolving initiatives that broaden access to design education. You are passionate about supporting students at all stages, from participants in summer programs to undergraduates navigating degree pathways. You will combine strong organizational skills with an ability to work collaboratively across faculty, staff, and community stakeholders to build meaningful experiences that foster success and belonging.
This hybrid job is situated in Ann Arbor and on-campus work is expected three days a week and five days a week when any summer programs are running. The college also offers a few offsite weeks throughout the academic year.

Additional Information
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $55,000. Factors used to determine salary include experience, knowledge and skills for the position. You are encouraged to discuss salary questions to honor transparency throughout the recruiting process.
